The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render services for the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering companies for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency claimed it is actually alarmed about the higher variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention with the Integrated Registration Outreach SRD Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the superior range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office focused on service the area every day. The services point established for intervention ordeals a substantial influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it hard for your Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more resources to help the servicing of all buyers and improve usage of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
